Hello and welcome to the Stampin’ Creative Global Blog Hop! Each month a few Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators from around the world come together to inspire! Currently, you’re visiting the blog of Kylie at Stampers Workshop in Australia! Thanks so much for hopping with us!
The theme for our April 2022 Blog Hop is Masculine Makes.
I couldn’t wait to use the new Brewed For You Bundle (coming 3 May 2022) for this challenge as I thought it would be perfect for this theme. I did spend a bit of time toying with different ideas before deciding to create a look like an old bar with a lot of beer lined up in front of an old mirror. Hopefully, you can see my vision!
The card features a few different techniques. I inked up the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder with Old Olive ink before running the card base through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine to give it a real grungy, textured look. The old mirror look was created by embossing Silver Foil with the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder.
As for the beers, they were all stamped and coloured in the same way, except for one which I stamped directly onto a Silicone Craft Sheet and then pressed some Basic White cardstock over the top to transfer the image in reverse. The contents were stamped in Daffodil Delight and then I added some Daffodil Delight watercolour pencil to try and create a little more interest. I also added some Pool Party to the glasses to help make them look just a little more realistic. Once finished, I pressed Versamark ink on each of the images, completely covering them before clear heat embossing them. I wanted them to have a shiny, glass-like appearance.
It was such a fun card to make!
Here’s the card…
Let’s continue on the hop…
